An unusual gin due to some of the ingredients that make it up: Japanese sancha tea, Chinese green tea and grapefruit.
It is a Super Premium gin, whose name comes from the fact that the botanical components are macerated for 24 hours before being distilled. It is these 24 hours that the ingredients are macerated (more than triple that of a normal gin), which makes it the only gin that dedicates so many hours to the maceration process and, apart from, being responsible for Beefeater 24 having an aroma harmonious and delicately balanced.
The botanicals used are juniper, orange peel, lemon and grapefruit, coriander, licorice, angelica root, iris root, almond, Japanese Sencha tea and Chinese green tea.
The final product is clear, somewhat oily, with a notable alcohol flavor as well as citrus and licorice on the palate; to smell, alcohol, citrus and tea are also noticeable.
