Cardhu 12 years is a single malt Scotch whiskey, with an alcohol content of 40.0%, obtained by distillation in small batches, through a slow process and aged for 12 years in oak barrels.
This whiskey is produced in Speyside, Scotland, at the Cardhu distillery founded in 1824 by John Cumming. It is said that this 12-year-old Cardhu owes its flavor and characteristics to the climatic conditions of the place where it is made and to the icy waters of the Spey glacial river with which it is mixed.
Cardhu 12 years has a golden honey appearance with remarkable body. On the nose, this Scotch whiskey stands out for its powerful aroma, with notes of pear and nuts and certain spicy touches. In the mouth, the manifest personality of Cardhu 12 years stands out, especially due to its balanced flavor as well as soft, with a certain sweetness.
