Ron Abuelo XV Oloroso belongs to a limited edition of authentic rums from Panama, made by a distillery with a long family history and great experience, the Varela Hermanos distillery. This series of three rums is the culmination of many years of effort and dedication. It ends in three variants: Tawny, Oloroso, and Napoleon. Each name was chosen to reflect the character of maturing in wooden barrels and to refer to the places that inspired this creation. The Ron Abuelo XV Oloroso Finish takes us to Oloroso Jerez from Spain, a very aromatic wine, full-bodied and slightly sweet. Of the three, perhaps it is the one that most maintains the traditional character of the rums, although with a more complex character, which gives it a final finish with notes of dried fruit. It is complex on the nose, with aromas of citrus peel and smoked wood. On the palate it presents notes of citrus and toasted almonds. It has a long and pleasant finish.
